We Are Rosie's mission is to create a community for marketers of all backgrounds to find good jobs with Fortune 500 companies. Their community has grown to almost 10,000 freelance marketers, putting a strain on operations and making it difficult to accurately forecast revenue. Read the story to see how Cloud Pathfinder helped We Are Rosie use Salesforce to scale and make work easier for the whole community.
We Are Rosie's mission is to bring diverse talent to Fortune 500 brands, and to make sure the people doing the work are happy and fulfilled while they're doing it. They have a freelance workforce of almost 10,000 "Rosies", and have grown significantly since they started in 2017.
But We Are Rosie had a complex business process that was built out in Salesforce - and they weren't sure if it was set up the right way or if their data structure was sound enough to make the tool worth the investment. Rosies, the Freelancers that the company sources and assigns to client projects, use Harvest, an online time tracking tool, to clock in and out of projects. We Are Rosie needed to be able to track Rosies' time entries against placements with specific companies and contracts for multiple types of work. Unfortunately, Salesforce was not originally configured to support this process, and data wasn't flowing well between Salesforce and Harvest, causing issues with reporting and forecasting.
Cloud Pathfinder Consulting worked with the team at We Are Rosie to understand the details and nuances of tracking Rosies against project placements. Then, we created a plan for Salesforce that would allow data to flow from Harvest and accurately map to accounts and projects. From there, the data can be organized into reports that provide the leadership team information they need to make hiring, marketing, sales, and other growth decisions.
